Last weekend was the second edition of Ottawa Comiccon. I was fortunate enough to go and speak to professionals, and to get some valuable feedback on my comic work. I even sold a piece! I want to thank all the great people I met for the time they took to review my work, it was much appreciated! Here are some digitally inked pages from my portfolio. I will be posting some work in progress over the next few days, so stay tuned!
I hadn't intended on putting these up for Halloween but I figure it's as good a time as any. These are a few concepts that I did for an unnamed project that, unfortunately was busted. I was pretty excited to design some cool Ghosts and bummed that we didn't get the project. Anyway here they are in all their glory. Enjoy :)
While travelling to and fro' on the bus my sketchbooks tend to fill up with pictures of some of the fascinating people that make up the,"elite" of the public transit community. I generally travel with my sketchbook and ball point pen just to pass the time. There are also a few random sketches in here but the majority are just doodles from my adventures on the bus.
Well I got bored so I thought I'd post a page of pencils from a short story involving the Silk Spinning Superhero. Hope you like it, there's more to come.
Yo Ho Mateys! I'm taking some time out to put up the first three pages I've ever had published from Grayhaven Comics' anthology "The Gathering". My good friend Corey Nowlan wrote the story and I drew the thing, comments and criticisms are welcomed as usual. The comic is available at grayhavencomics.com. Apologies as well for the gap between posts but I have a pile of stuff ready to go and I'll be posting it regularly over the next little while.
Farewell and Goodbye.
